The GSC's 7th Caulfield Guineas Eve racing lunch boasted an all star line up, including Robbie Waterhouse, Michael Rodd, our very own MC to the stars, Jason Richardson and the stars of 'The Punter's Show'.
Over 270 people packed out Zinc on a superb Melbourne Spring afternoon to witness Jason Richardson smash through a packed agenda with his usual flair and humour.
The afternoon's highlights included:
Michael Rodd delivering a spine-tingling account of his Melbourne Cup win on Efficient;
A surprise attendance from Australian Racing Royalty, Gai Waterhouse, who was generous enough to share her thoughts on her major Guineas day chances;
An entertaining (if not entirely profitable) overview of the Caulfield card by Dallas and Glenn from ‘The Punter’s Show’;
An awesome after party at the temporary KIRIN bar overlooking the mighty Yarra.
Most importantly we raised just over $38,000 – all of which will be used to assist disadvantaged young people to access sport. Massive thanks to all our members who attended and contributed to this awesome result. In particular, we’d like to thank major the contributions made by Boags, Spicer Thoroughbreds and TopBetta.
