A Long Lunch with David Schwarz
A sincere thank you to everyone who attended last Thursday’s inaugural GSC lunch at Bluestone Restaurant.
It was a perfect way to kick of these lunches, with great food, wine and company. David Schwarz was certainly compelling, though I am led to believe that 8 people who heard him speak turned up to Flemington on Saturday with $2,000 in their pockets.
We are very pleased to report that we raised over $2,800, all of which will go towards helping to make sport more accessible for young people. In time, we will outline some of the specific outcomes of these sponsorships on the website and at our next event.
Given the overwhelmingly positive feedback, we will certainly proceed with arranging another lunch later in the year which will most likely be in October. We will keep you updated via email and through the website. As a bonus, all foundation members will have first access to tickets!
